Joseph Smiths birthplace

We ran down to South Royalton today to see Joseph Smith's birthplace with the kids. There weren't very many people there today so that missionary offered to give us a golf cart ride down through the woods to see the other foundations. We had never seen them before so that was very fun plus the kids loved writing the golf cart!

It's a beautiful site down there and I enjoyed the little tour!  I adore the trees on the road up to the memorial. I miss trees!

This is an original bridge on the old turn pike road. They are pretty sure the rd ran from Boston to Montreal! That would be slow going!
